On November 18, there was a production briefing session for the upcoming movie Catch Me at Seoul Lotte cinema near Konkuk University.
During the briefing, Joo Won surprised everyone by revealing that he had feelings for Kim Ah Joong, who played his opposite in the movie.
When Park Kyung Rim, who was the MC of the event, asked Joo Won what made him feel attracted to the actress, he replied, “I have to like the actress in order to act out a romance with her. I don’t have the ability to fake liking someone who I don’t like in real life.”
With a hint of disappointment, Joo Won added, “I liked Kim Ah Joong a lot even after the filming was over, but I couldn’t do anything since I started filming drama Good Doctor soon after.”
Being known as the hit drama maker after numerous of his dramas were successful, Joo Won plans to target the big screen next by acting an elite profiler, who hesitates to fulfill his missions upon finding out his next target is Kim Ah Joong, his first love.
Catch Me will be released on December 12.
