Joo Won held three rounds of fan meetings in Tokyo and Kyoto, successfully wrapping up his all-live concerts, each lasting 100 minutes.
From January 23 to 25, Joo Won launched his solo fan meeting Joo Won 2015 Sweet Smile Live in Club eX in Tokyo and Toyosu Pit in Kyoto, spending a special time with 3,000 Japanese fans.
During this fan meeting, Joo Won formed his own four-person band, performing 11 songs completely live for 100 minutes. With his outstanding singing ability and stage manner, he led the concert without an MC.
He presented a special event, appearing in the middle of the seats while singing Innocent, which is from the OST of the drama Naeil’s Cantabile, bringing out loud cheers from the fans.
An affiliate of the event revealed, “Joo Won carried out the event completely live along with a band, which is unusual for an actor. He surprised all of the staff members with his singing ability like a singer. We were also touched by his passion shown throughout the concert and his warm heart of taking care of the staff members.”
Joo Won stated, “My heart was hot as I interacted with the fans on stage and I’m still overwhelmed by my vivid memories of those moments. I was worried about carrying on the concert with a band and without an MC but I’m grateful that the fans showed a lot of support until the end. It really was an unforgettable concert.”
Meanwhile, the drama Naeil’s Cantabile starring Joo Won as the genius musician Cha Yoo Jin, will begin airing in Japan though Fuji TV next month.
