【NEWS】140917 Joo Won and Shim Eun Kyung Show Chemistry During First Shoot for ‘Tomorrow Cantabile’

Joo Won and Shim Eun Kyung showed explosive chemistry during first shoot for Tomorrow Cantabile.

KBS2’s upcoming drama Tomorrow Cantabile released photos of Joo Won and Shim Eun Kyung on the first day of filming.

In the drama, Joo Won will be acting as the brusque and attractive genius musician ‘Cha Yoo Jin’ while Shim Eun Kyung will be taking the role of 4-dimensional, free spirited, genius pianist ‘Seol Nae Il.’ Having nothing in common, the two will develop as they begin to communicate with one another as musical partners.

Joo Won and Shim Eun Kyung’s first filming took place on September 10 in Yeoju city. They filmed the scene where Cha Yoo Jin unintentionally spends a night over at Seol Nae Il’s house after getting drunk, leading the other students at their school to be suspicious of their relationship.

Despite filming early in the morning, Joo Won and Shim Eun Kyung were full of smiles as they showed excitement for their first shoot.

Before they began filming, the two looked around the filming site in detail and kept their eyes fixed to the scripts as they continued to rehearse. They also checked the scripts with Han Sang Woo PD, discussing the flow of the story as they showed their passion to increase the quality of the drama.

Once the filming started, Joo Won perfectly transformed into Cha Yoo Jin from head to toe, with his brusque and chic charms and Shim Eun Kyung also acted out her character with comical actions and adorable facial expressions.

Acting opposite each other for the first time through Tomorrow Cantabile, Joo Won and Shim Eun Kyung showed great teamwork. When Shim Eun Kyung held Joo Won’s hand and looked at him with eyes full of aegyo, they showed off explosive chemistry.

Tomorrow Cantabile is based on original Japanese drama Nodame Cantabile and it depicts the story of love and growth of young people who passionately work for their dreams of pursuing classical music.

It is set to air on October 13.
