Joo Won has been pouring all his effort in order to transform into a genius music student dreaming to become a world-renowned conductor.
Group 8, the production company of KBS 2TV’s Tomorrow Cantabile scheduled to air following Discovery of Romance, released a set of pictures on September 23, featuring lead actor Joo Won focusing on his practice.
In the drama, Joo Won will be acting as ‘Cha Yoo Jin,’ a genius music student, who has gifted talent in piano and violin. In order to pull off his character, Joo Won has been practicing since the time he was cast, for about five months.
According to an affiliate, it’s not an easy task for a beginner to have the correct conducting posture. However, Joo Won has been practicing harder than anyone, surprising even the production team.
Music director and conductor Lee Jong Jin, who has been training Joo Won, said, “It’s surprising to see how hard Joo Won has been practicing. Although he has a tough schedule practicing conducting and playing violin, his has been pouring amazing efforts. Sometimes it’s difficult to teach music majors because of their bad habits but Joo Won has been soaking everything in like a sponge, so I’ve been enjoying teaching him. I get surprised when I see how quickly he learns. He has exceptional understanding of the songs and attitude.”
The highly anticipated drama Tomorrow Cantabile will begin airing on October 13, following Discovery of Romance.
