Actor Joo Won who was set to leave his permanent post on KBS's Happy Sunday Variety Show - 2 Day 1 Night, broke down in tears towards the end of the of the filming.
On October 11th and 12th, Joo Won set out to film his last episodes and last trip with 2D1N at Jeju Island.
According to a representative of 2D1N, the filming was carried as per usual, in a kind atmosphere until the end. Although all the cast members and staff knew that Joo Won was leaving, they did not to show it. Everyone put in their full effort into their missions and task as usual, busily completing their day's schedule.
Someone mentioned, that during the closing segment of the 12th, Joo Won and the other members carried out their last greetings. The members and Joo Won who ascended a Volcano on Jeju Island, expressed their final farewells and gratitude, leaving one another in tears of regret and unwillingness.
In February of 2012, following the withdrawal of Director Na YoungSeok and permanent cast member Kang Ho Dong, Joo Won joined 2D1N with the status of a new member. Along with his addition, where other new members, Kim SeungWoo, Cha Tae Hyun and Sung SiKyung. With and all-rounded addition of members from young to old, the new members brought new life and new popularity to the show. Regretfully, due to overseas promotions and musical schedules, Joo Won no longer had the choice but to withdraw from the show that he has spent 1 year and 8 months on.
Joo Won's last trip with 2D1N to Jeju Island will be broadcasted on the 20th and 27th October in two episodes.
Also, after the completion of the popular drama, Good Doctor, Joo Won is set to commit fully into his Musical 'Ghost' which will begin on the 24th of November.
