During the filming process of KBS2's television series 'Good Doctor', Actor Joo Won shared that he suffered from muscle aches, revealing his back-story.
On the 15th of October, Joo Won showed up at a Cafe in Seoul, Gangnam and sat down for an round-table interview with reporters. "This time's drama caused me a lot of muscle aches." he expressed humorously.
Joo Won's character required a unique posture in this drama, from his neck to his shoulders and even his waist. All of his body posture looked peculiar, even his style of walking was different from a normal person's. "Perhaps it is because of (being in those postures for) long periods of time, my muscles constantly feels painful. Actually now my sitting posture and walking style still have Shi On's shadow, I haven't been able to completely get rid of the habit.".
In the drama 'Good Doctor' which concluded recently, Joo Won played the character Park Shi On who suffers from savant syndrome and has a exceptional talent in diagnosis. The character had just entered his first year residency in the Pediatric Department of a hospital. From his facial expressions, to his postures and even tone of speech, his acting successfully and accurately portrayed the characteristics of an autistic person. His outstanding acting skills received much praise and compliments.
Joo Won shared,"During the recent musical practices, my seniors keep asking me if I can straighten my back more and return to a normal standing posture." as he broke into laughter.
Aside, after the conclusion of 'Good Doctor', Joo Won will be preparing for his leading role in the public performance of the Musical 'Ghost' starting from 24th November. The musical 'Ghost' is the original adaption of the same titled movie.
